Job summary

Chenega Security SBU is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and sustaining large-scale enterprise IT environments. This role is based in Chantilly, VA and will work closely with government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.

You will provide strategic direction for enterprise IT programs, oversee cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT operations experience using ITSM in a Federal DoD environment.
• 10+ years in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government or DoD.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification.
• Active TS clearance.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide and large-scale information systems programs.
• Lead, manage, and develop teams of network, systems, cybersecurity, software, and infrastructure engineers.
• Establish engineering objectives, priorities, standards, and performance expectations aligned with program and organizational goals.
• Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, integration, modernization, and sustainment of complex IT systems and networks.
• Ensure engineering solutions comply with cybersecurity, information assurance, and government security requirements.
• Direct engineering resources, staffing plans, project assignments, and workload balancing across multiple initiatives.
• Evaluate and approve technical approaches, engineering designs, implementation plans, and system architecture decisions.
