Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks an Engineering Manager to lead PlayStation's Client DevEx team. You will drive the development of modern developer platforms, including docs systems, intelligent search, performance tooling, and AI-powered experiences.

Balance leadership with technical depth to guide architecture, review designs, and support engineers at a code level when needed across frontend and backend domains.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience with 3–5+ years in engineering management.
• Strong frontend experience (JavaScript, React, React Native) and solid backend/platform fundamentals.
• Experience designing and delivering complex, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and mentor a team of engineers with ownership culture.
• Deliver developer platforms and tools used across PlayStation.
• Provide technical leadership at code and system design levels.
• Guide architecture across frontend, backend, and platform layers.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, QE, system software, and product teams to set priorities.
