Job summary

Namely is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-surface team delivering Sequencing.com’s AI health experience across mobile apps, web, and backend AI platform. You’ll manage a distributed team, align on roadmaps, and drive end-to-end delivery from planning to production with a strong emphasis on reliability and user experience.

You will partner with Product and Bioinformatics to simplify genomic content into clear, accurate health insights, guiding architecture and trade-offs for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management for high-complexity, high-visibility systems.
• Full-stack leadership across frontend and backend and multiple customer surfaces.
• Native mobile experience, ideally React Native on iOS/Android.
• AI/ML production familiarity with multi-agent systems and model orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Cross-surface delivery: own roadmap across native app, web app, and AI platform.
• Multi-surface releases: drive releases across React Native, web, and backend with quality focus.
• Shared backend integrity: keep APIs stable for all frontends and teams.
• People leadership: coach and manage a distributed team with regular 1:1s.
• Translate complex genomic content into clear, usable UX for customers.
• Drive production-grade AI platform execution and latency optimizations.
• Improve reliability and deployment stability across surfaces.
