Healthie is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Mobile and Backend teams, driving scalability, reliability, and performance of core systems. You will partner with Product and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions that power Healthie’s healthcare delivery platform.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled development, modern engineering practices, and a focus on velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a software engineer and 2+ years leading teams.
• Healthcare SaaS and mobile app experience preferred.
• Stack experience: Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, Capybara.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead data-driven development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach engineers within your squad.
• Own squad roadmaps, prioritization and delivery of high-impact initiatives.
• Shape architectural decisions with peers across Engineering and Product.
• Champion engineering best practices for secure, performant, and maintainable code.
• Create an empowering and motivated team environment.
