Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a Core Infrastructure team within Platform Engineering.

This hands-on role requires guiding technical strategy, participating in design discussions, and mentoring backend and full-stack engineers to deliver scalable compute infrastructure that powers Ads, Content, and ML platforms. You will hire, grow and retain talent, set roadmaps, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science and Exec stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience, or with advanced degrees
• 1+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
• Experience with distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure technologies

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of backend and full‑stack developers, in a fast‑paced, quick‑to‑market environment
• Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver
• Collaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science and Engineering teams, and executive stakeholders
