Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers working on Apple Card and Apple Savings.
• Drive architectural decisions across distributed systems for scale, performance, and reliability.
• Establish engineering best practices around code quality, testing, and incident response.
• Partner with product managers, operations, and cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear engineering plans.
• Champion a culture of quality with design/code reviews and incident response.
