Applied Intuition, Inc. in Silicon Valley seeks a data/ML systems engineer to build scalable data pipelines and advance a data engine for high-fidelity labeling and model training. You will drive ML infrastructure, collaborate on microservice-based data software, and grow into a position of ownership within a new product team.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance, with responsibilities including implementing DL data flows, interfacing with DoD

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure and running large-scale GPU jobs.
• Created or worked on microservices and/or databases for data-oriented software.
• Hunger to learn and grow into ownership on a new product team.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Construct optimized data pipelines to run ML models.
• Evolve data engine architecture to scale high-fidelity labels and accelerate ML iteration cycles.
• Integrate foundation models (LLMs, VLMs, and multimodal models) to automate labeling, QA, and data discovery.
• Leverage software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Interact with the DoD customer to understand use cases and deliver a superior customer experience.
