Job summary

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment in the United States seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function, designing, implementing, and reviewing processes to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality.

You will research automation techniques, test new systems for efficiency, and plan factory layouts to optimize production, while mentoring teams and coordinating with product development, sales, and marketing to stay competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of related experience and/or line management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies for the engineering function.
• Creates a technical vision and plans for implementation of new technical projects or product lines.
• Lends guidance to production during implementation of design and reviews final product for intent and practicality.
• Supervises design teams and mentors Jr. Engineers, Drafter/Designers, and related staff.
• Develops technical budgets, allocates resources, and schedules product releases or project deadlines.
