Sulzer in Houston seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Americas to lead a multi-discipline engineering group under a One Americas model. You will set regional engineering strategies, standards, and governance, while driving collaboration, resource sharing, and KPI programs across locations.

The role requires 12+ years in industrial manufacturing, with 5+ years leading teams, plus fluency in English and Spanish. Strong product and project engineering experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, chemical, energy, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; English and Spanish proficiency.
• Experience with product engineering, design engineering, project engineering, and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Americas Engineering organization under a One Americas operating model.
• Develop and execute the regional engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Establish engineering standards, design practices, technical governance processes, and engineering procedures across the region.
• Drive resource sharing, collaboration, and workload balancing across engineering teams.
• Establish KPIs, performance management systems, and talent development plans.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain engineering talent.
• Leadership across MTCS product design, manufacturing support, and optimization initiatives.
