Job summary

Rocket Mortgage is seeking a Software Engineering Manager within Servicing Technology to lead the Servicing Digital - Transact team, responsible for payments, payoffs, wallet, and transaction history used by millions of Rocket homeowners.

You will own delivery, coach engineers, and drive technical decisions for a full-stack stack including Next.js/React, NestJS GraphQL, and .NET/C# services on AWS with EKS.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience, with hands-on full-stack work.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience with front-end React/Next.js and NestJS GraphQL.
• Back-end experience with .NET/C# and GraphQL.
• Experience deploying on AWS with EKS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full-stack engineers, including hiring, onboarding and performance management.
• Own delivery planning, prioritization and execution with high-quality outcomes.
• Set technical direction across front-end and back-end services.
• Ensure reliable build, deployment and operation on AWS/EKS via CI/CD.
• Promote AI-native engineering and adoption of AI tooling and workflows.
• Partner with product, design, data and business stakeholders to translate needs into a roadmap.
• Remove blockers, manage risk, and communicate status to leadership.
• Foster ownership, inclusion and continuous learning across distributed teams.
