Job summary

Rocket is seeking a Software Engineer I within Servicing Technology to build and maintain client-facing and internal servicing apps used by millions. You’ll contribute across the stack—front end with Next.js/React and back end with .NET/C# or NestJS GraphQL—while learning in an AI-enabled environment.

The role emphasizes shipping real products, collaborating with product managers and designers, participating in code reviews, and writing automated tests.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Next.js or React on the front end.
• Experience with .NET/C# and/or NestJS GraphQL on the back end.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Willingness to learn AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Code and maintain high-quality full-stack software solutions with guidance from senior engineers.
• Build new features and improve existing functionality across the front end (Next.js or React) and back end (.NET / C#, NestJS GraphQL).
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement product requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Amazon EKS through CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for code, APIs, and systems.
