Ovise Limited is seeking a Staff+ software engineering lead in New York City to own the architecture, scale, and reliability of the core platform. You will set technical direction and lead a small team to deliver high-impact improvements.

The role requires deep backend expertise in Go and Postgres, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, AWS, and event-driven systems. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with product leadership on the roadmap.

Competenze

• 8+ years in software engineering with Staff+ or Tech Lead experience.
• Deep backend experience in Go and Postgres at scale.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, AWS, and event-driven architectures.
• Track record taking big technical initiatives from ambiguity to production.

Mansioni

• Own the architecture, scale, and reliability of the core platform.
• Set technical direction and lead a small team.
• Design and scale distributed, event-driven systems (Go, Kafka, Temporal, Postgres).
• Own reliability: SLOs, incident response, post-mortems.
• Drive observability, CI/CD, and platform initiatives across engineering.
