Job summary

SLEQ Solutions in Blaine, MN seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-team development effort on a next-gen, AI-enabled software platform. As player/coach, you own direction, contribute hands-on when needed, and deliver robust, scalable software aligned to customer needs.

You will supervise AI/ML capabilities, automation, and platform architecture, while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product and executives to align priorities and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership
• Hands-on technical credibility with modern languages and platforms
• Experience designing scalable platforms with strong architecture and cloud
• Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled products and LLM integration
• Strong people leadership and clear communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy, technical direction, and platform architecture
• Oversee AI-driven product capabilities, ML/LLM initiatives, and automation
• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams
• Set engineering practices, coding standards, and DevOps maturity; own delivery lifecycle
• Partner with Product and executives to refine priorities and communicate risks
• Champion customer value across Product, Design, Customer Success, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure
