Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead ELERA development teams building AI-native tooling and an agentic platform. You will own delivery end to end, oversee team health, and drive architectural decisions while collaborating with Principal Engineers.

Strong candidates have 5–10+ years in software with leadership, shipping production systems, and deep knowledge of SDLC/CI/CD. Rewards include a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in software development, including 3-10 years in leadership or manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• A strong software engineering background with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.
• Demonstrated leadership of software engineers, owned end-to-end delivery for a team’s scope.
• Working knowledge of modern Agile delivery, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
• Comfort moving between architectural level and debugger in same day.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; executive-ready tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, performance, compensation, career development, and tough conversations.
• Stay close to code for design reviews and production issue debugging.
• Know the architecture, backlog, customers, and market performance.
