Job summary

Retail Insight seeks a Head of Engineering to lead multiple squads across data and software engineering, QA and delivery, guiding technology and product roadmaps.

You will coach teams, drive process improvements and ensure strong stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment. Flexible hybrid working and a commitment to growth, learning and operational excellence are offered.

Qualifications

Experience leading software and/or data engineering teams.
Strong technical understanding of modern data platforms and engineering practices.
Experience managing multiple teams and balancing priorities.
Coaching and developing others; translating technical concepts to business outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication; agile experience.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional engineering squads including Data, Software, QA and Delivery.
Drive continuous improvement of processes, delivery, and technical capability.
Shape technology and product roadmaps with stakeholders.
Remove blockers and optimize team effectiveness; hire and coach talent.
Champion AI-first approaches across the engineering organization.
