Job summary

equipifi is seeking an Engineering Manager to bring performance management and cadence to three pods as we scale our fintech platform. You will own hiring, coaching, and performance reviews while ensuring delivery excellence and quality.

The role reports to the CTO and collaborates with Product and Ops to translate product requirements into concrete technical scope. You’ll drive continuous delivery, automated testing, and a culture of fast, responsible shipping, leveraging AI-native tooling to

Qualifications

5+ years as a software engineer before moving into management.
3+ years as an engineering manager.
Experience with continuous delivery and automated testing, with daily shipping.
Fluency with DORA metrics or a comparable framework.
Comfortable with Go and Node.js/TypeScript; real experience with each.

Responsibilities

Build a high-performing team across three pods with hiring, coaching, 1:1s, performance reviews, and promotions.
Own engineering systems: track throughput, DORA metrics, and architecture decisions; push deployment cadence from weekly to daily and improve automated testing.
Unblock horizontally by translating product requirements into clear technical scope and ensuring the right resource is on each problem.
