Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Launch & Sandboxes team in the US. You will lead the team responsible for sandboxed GPU-enabled environments and job submission/compute orchestration, shaping strategy, and delivering reliable software across Kubernetes, HPC nodes, and cloud VMs.

You will partner with product management, drive architecture discussions, mentor engineers toward leadership, and champion an AI-forward culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading infra or platform teams.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems depth.
• Technical fluency in Go, Python, and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing distributed systems in production.
• Experience balancing product delivery with technical health (tech debt, reliability, on-call).
• Experience partnering with product managers to shape and prioritize a roadmap.
• Track record of growing engineers across levels.
• Strong communication with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity in new product areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Launch & Sandboxes engineering team end-to-end and align with product strategy.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize across competing initiatives.
• Unblock engineers on cross-team dependencies and ensure reliable delivery.
• Participate in architecture discussions around container orchestration, authentication, and billing infrastructure.
• Grow engineers into autonomous leaders and technical decision‑makers.
• Champion AI-forward tooling and developer experience within the team.
