Job summary

Airtable is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Admin & Governance team, focused on scaling enterprise AI governance and admin visibility. You will drive the roadmap, scale enterprise trust systems, and unblock adoption for Airtable’s largest customers.

Based in San Francisco with a hybrid model, you will collaborate with product, design, and security to implement governance controls, audit capabilities, and admin features across major platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an engineer (staff or TL level IC) and 2+ years as a manager or similar.
• Experience with navigating large systems and engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong collaboration with product/design to drive strategy and adoption among customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers responsible for our systems and frameworks.
• Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives for high-quality products.
• Coach and mentor engineers, including early-career talent, to scale impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to align on short- and long-term team strategy and plans.
• Implement scalable processes that balance rigor with agility in a dynamic environment.
