Job summary

Roblox is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Observability team to lead AI-powered platforms that enhance CI/CD, testing, and DevOps workflows. You will guide a team in building scalable observability infrastructure and improving developer productivity across Roblox’s distributed systems.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, product engineering, and AI teams to define strategy, hire and mentor engineers, and drive initiatives that boost reliability and efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading high-performing teams.
• Strong track record in building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with observability platforms or AI/ML-powered infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for developer experience and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmap for Roblox's observability infrastructure.
• Mentor and grow a team building AI-powered developer tools and observability platforms.
• Foster ownership, execution, innovation, collaboration, and customer impact.
• Drive initiatives to improve developer productivity, operational excellence, and platform reliability at scale.
• Shape the future of AI-driven developer tooling, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps experiences across Roblox.
