Job summary

Mochi Health in San Francisco is seeking an Engineering Manager to scale our AI-first healthcare platform. You will mentor senior engineers, hire talent, and push for high technical craft while partnering with clinical leadership to solve massive healthcare challenges.

You will own full lifecycle delivery—from database design to frontend interfaces—while integrating frontier agentic AI tools to accelerate development and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of full-stack engineering experience in scalable systems.
• Strong command of client-side state and performance optimization.
• Data modeling and API boundary awareness is essential.
• Full lifecycle ownership, from backend to frontend, with deployment and reliability focus.
• Experience using AI tooling to accelerate development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build complex healthcare interfaces and multi-step medical intake engines.
• Bridge clinical backend with intuitive frontend experiences.
• Champion user experience and impact on patient outcomes.
• Own database schema, API, React UI, and production deployment.
• Integrate AI capabilities into product to automate workflows.
