Job summary

Addepar is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Advisor Experience team to lead a growing group of engineers working on the Secure Message Center and broader advisor-client workflows within the Addepar platform.

You will partner with product management and design to translate ambitious product vision into shipped software, guide architecture decisions, conduct reviews, and hire and mentor engineers while maintaining high standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong full-stack background across backend and frontend.
• Experience reviewing architecture and guiding design decisions.
• Effective communicator bridging technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience with real-time messaging systems or client portals is a plus.
• Fintech, wealth management, or advisor workflows interest.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers.
• Define roadmaps with product management and design.
• Own the team's technical direction and code reviews.
• Drive execution with clear goals and sustainable practices.
• Recruit and hire engineers as the team grows.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate with the broader platform.
• Champion operational excellence including testing and deployment.
