Job summary

Imagen Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to build and lead the AI Data Platform team. You will own the end‑to‑end data platform for clinical imaging data, ensuring reliability, security and scalability while collaborating with AI, Product, Clinical and Regulatory teams.

The role blends hands-on engineering with growing into full-time management as the team scales, reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong data engineering foundations in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data infra.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a data engineering team for the AI Data Platform.
• Own platform ingestion, de-identification, transformation and serving of clinical imaging data.
• Define a technical roadmap aligned with business OKRs and data quality/compliance.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and cross-functional collaboration.
