Job summary

AiPrise is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow the team that builds AI agents. This role combines people leadership with hands-on engineering, including architecture review, prompt/tool definitions, and debugging complex evals.

You will own how agents are built, tracked, and shipped, ensuring quality and observability in a regulated domain like KYC/KYB, where errors carry real audit risk and cost.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing engineers directly, including hiring, performance reviews, and at least one hard conversation.
• Built and shipped production-grade LLM agents with measurable impact.
• Experience designing tool/calling interfaces, prompt modules, and agent memory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5-6 AI and backend engineers with weekly 1:1s and career growth plans.
• Own interview loop for agent-engineering roles and set hiring bar.
• Plan and deliver AI roadmap with product to ensure predictable, sustainable releases.
• Design and review compliance agents, with memory and tool calls across cases.
