[Company] is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to drive AI agent initiatives for enterprise customers in a B2B platform. You will mentor engineers, partner with customers to translate operational needs into scalable agent solutions, and oversee deployments from initial setup to ongoing optimization.

You will shape technical strategy with cross-functional teams, maintain a high bar for quality, and guide the platform's direction toward robust, scalable performance in customer environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience and 1+ year in leadership.
• Backend or product engineering with customer-facing or distributed systems experience.
• Proficiency in Python; production experience with TypeScript and async programming.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead an engineering team building and improving AI agents for customer support within a B2B conversational AI platform. This role combines technical leadership, customer partnership, and hands‑on problem solving to deliver reliable systems at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers building AI agents for complex customer interactions.
• Work with enterprise customers to understand operational challenges and develop scalable agent solutions.
• Guide deployments from initial implementation through ongoing iteration and optimization.
• Partner with product, design, and research teams to identify shared customer needs and inform platform direction.
• Help set technical strategy and maintain a high bar for quality, ownership, and execution.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year leading or managing engineers.
• Backend or product engineering experience, including work on customer‑facing products or complex distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and production experience with TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Ability to investigate failures across complex technology stacks and communicate effectively with enterprise customers.
• Experience with AI systems, LLM applications, agentic workflows, or multimodal models is valuable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $300,000 to $360,000 annually.
