Job summary

Stripe in San Francisco is seeking an Engineering Manager for Agentic Commerce to shape and deliver transformative API-driven experiences that empower AI agents to build agent-powered online commerce.

You will lead cross-functional teams with PM, design, data science, and marketing, drive high-impact features, define success metrics, and collaborate with large enterprises to understand their needs and translate them into scalable product solutions.

Qualifications

BS in CS or related field required.
10+ years engineering experience.
Experience coaching senior engineers.
Experience leading multi-team initiatives spanning tech roadmaps.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Collaborative cross-functional partner.
Empathy for users in digital commerce.

Responsibilities

Build full stack solutions across Stripe's ecosystem, including back end services, dashboards, money movement systems, and integrations with Stripe primitives.
Partner with product management and design to ship high impact features that increase user autonomy and reduce friction.
Apply analytical skills to data, test hypotheses, and set success metrics for the team to ensure enterprise-grade reliability SLOs.
Collaborate across Stripe’s platform and product teams to integrate agentic commerce capabilities seamlessly.
Engage directly with users, especially large enterprises, to translate requirements into novel product shapes.
