Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Leader to guide a team building agentic AI platforms that improve the software development lifecycle. You will drive architecture, delivery and operational excellence, partnering with internal engineering and client-facing teams.

You will mentor engineers across levels, establish priorities, and ensure scalable, secure solutions using Python, TypeScript and cloud services. A collaborative culture and strong engineering discipline are required.

Qualifications

Experience leading software engineers in an agile product or platform environment.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript; strong architecture and design skills.
Experience delivering developer tools, automation frameworks, or workflow systems.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop software engineers across multiple levels and disciplines.
Set priorities, delivery plans, and success measures aligned with enterprise objectives.
Architect scalable agentic workflows, libraries and developer platforms.
Oversee solutions built with Python, TypeScript, cloud tech and MPC integrations.
Ensure security, quality, reliability and maintainability of workflows.
Foster disciplined engineering practices including reviews and automated testing.
