Job summary

Roblox Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ads Experience team, owning the full stack from campaign setup to real-time reporting across self-serve, programmatic, and agency.

You will build and lead a high-caliber engineering team, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to define the product vision while ensuring scalable, reliable systems and fair monetization for creators.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in people management.
• Experience delivering customer-facing web products end to end, with understanding of Ad Tech stack, campaign management, reporting, creative, ad serving, measurement, and ad delivery.
• Experience building campaign management systems used by ad ops teams, advertisers, and agencies.
• Proven ability to deliver APIs and UIs for campaign creation, editing, flighting, targeting, and budget management across simple and complex campaign structures.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-availability backend services (Go, C#, or similar), and frontend architectures (React/TypeScript).
• A passion for mentoring engineers and ability to manage performance and navigate organizational challenges.
• BS, MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-caliber software engineering team and manage performance.
• Own Roblox Ads Manager roadmap and full stack from campaign setup to reporting.
• Develop the creator ad monetization tools and payout systems.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery with emphasis on technical health and on-time shipping.
• Provide system design guidance for scalable frontend/backend architectures.
• Apply AI across the ecosystem to assist advertisers and creators.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to define the product vision.
