Job summary

Roblox is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ads Experience team, owning the delivery and health of monetization surfaces including Roblox Ads Manager, Brand Ads & Integrations, and Creator Monetization & Commerce.

You will build and coach a high-caliber engineering team, shape the roadmap, and ensure scalable, reliable features with strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, and Data Science.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience with people management.
Experience delivering customer-facing web products end-to-end in Ad Tech.
Strong background in distributed systems and high-availability backend services.
Mentoring engineers and managing performance in a team.
Experience with engineering best practices and incident management.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team of software engineers; manage hiring and performance.
Drive the Ads Experience roadmap across Roblox Ads Manager, Brand Ads & Integrations, Creator Monetization & Commerce.
Own the full SDLC and balance rapid iteration with long-term health.
Provide technical guidance on system design and frontend/backend architecture.
Apply AI across the ecosystem to aid advertisers and creators.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to align vision with implementation.
