Today, our team produces sophisticated aluminum castings for major manufacturers across automotive, heavy truck, construction/off-highway and recreation markets.Our engineering capabilities span casting design, tooling, core making, heat treatment, machining and quality assurance, giving our engineers the opportunity to see projects from concept through production.And we're part of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, a company with a 115+ year history of manufacturing excellence and a growing family of Midwest manufacturing operations.The OpportunityLead and develop the Engineering DepartmentEstablish department goals and allocate resourcesLead new product development and production projectsDevelop manufacturing processes and toolingOwn and support gating and rigging designUtilize simulation and engineering software to solve casting and manufacturing challengesLead and support continuous improvement and capital projectsOversee program management and product validationPartner with Manufacturing, Quality and other functions to solve problemsServe as a technical liaison with customers during new product developmentOwn engineering change controlTrain and mentor Engineering and Manufacturing team membersHave the authority to stop production or shipment when necessary to address a quality concernHelp Wabash continually improve its technology, processes and engineering capabilitiesWe're Looking for Someone Who...Thinks like an engineer.
