Halian is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams across hardware and software product development, with a people-first leadership approach.

You will empower senior engineers, own delivery timelines, and drive organizational growth while collaborating with the CTO and executive leadership.

This role emphasizes developing leaders, improving processes, and scaling engineering programs in a fast-moving environment.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in hardware and/or software product development.
• 4+ years managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, including senior engineers, Principal Engineers, or Technical Leads.
• Experience in people management, performance reviews, hiring, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Demonstrated success building, developing, and scaling engineering teams in growing organizations.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting engineering updates to executives and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering organizations through Principal Engineers and Technical Leads.
• Working knowledge of embedded systems, RF engineering, electrical hardware, and application software development.
• Experience managing integrated hardware and software product development through production.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and software validation.
• Exposure to engineering compliance requirements, including EMI/EMC, cybersecurity, and safety-critical software.
• Experience in a startup, high-growth technology organization, or defense technology environment.
• Background supporting complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs involving hardware, software, and systems integration.
