EMAC, inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead both hardware and software engineering teams.
The role will drive delivery outcomes with a hands-on, high-performing engineering culture, reporting to EMAC leadership and aligning with FRAMOS after the acquisition. The position supports flexible work arrangements with remote work and monthly onsite presence to foster collaboration and leadership activities.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead both hardware and software engineering teams at EMAC, now part of FRAMOS. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, taking full ownership of outcomes while cultivating a collaborative, hands-on, and high-performing engineering environment.
Location: This role can be based in Nashville, TN; Carbondale, IL; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO; or another location within reasonable proximity to Carbondale, IL.
The position offers a flexible work arrangement with remote work available; however, onsite presence is required approximately once per month to support team collaboration, leadership activities, and key business engagements.
Following the acquisition by FRAMOS, this position plays a key role in combining EMAC's deep legacy in custom embedded system design and integration with FRAMOS' global expertise in embedded vision technologies. You will help scale engineering excellence while maintaining the agility and customer focus EMAC is known for.
You will report directly to the President of EMAC while working in close alignment with FRAMOS executive leadership, ensuring strong connection between local execution and global strategy.
