Job description

Sezzle, Inc. seeks Engineering Manager (FT) to build and manage a team of software engineers as the team’s capacity requirements grow; Work within our software development lifecycle; Prepare specifications and determine operational feasibility; Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code; Organize, document, and maintain software functionality; Integrate software components into a fully functional software system; Evaluate and deploy processes and metrics; Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards; Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permissible.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or other closely related fields and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 3 years of experience in the following skills: Using Mac (also Unix) for developing software while implementing Linux images for deployments; Overseeing web security - user authentication and authorization, and engineer solutions to safeguard user accounts; Writing testable, scalable, and maintainable code in Go, Typescript, Bash, Javascript, and SQL; Managing multiple projects/products within a team and efficiently splitting up tasks in order to deliver projects on time; and, collaboratively maintaining code for organizational efficiency.

Salary and Benefits: $152,225-$162,225/yr. Salary ranges listed in compliance w/ local regs & reps a potential base salary range for this role. Actual salaries may vary depending on exp & location.
