Job summary

Entegee is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering teams, develop production processes, and support DFM/DFA, NPI, CAPA, and CNC/assembly improvements. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong project and multi-customer management, and deep knowledge of quality standards.

You will oversee tooling/fixture design, create work instructions, and partner with sales for cost estimates while advancing Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or design engineering environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of industry regulations.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing best practices.
• Working knowledge of quality standards.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD.
• Experience creating work instructions.
• Experience with tooling design.
• Experience with fixture design.
• Experience supporting CNC operations.
• Experience supporting assembly operations.
• Experience supporting design for manufacturability.

• Experience with product troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Mentor and develop Manufacturing Engineering staff.
• Oversee development of manufacturing processes.
• Develop work instructions for production operations.
• Oversee tooling design for CNC and assembly operations.
• Oversee fixture design for CNC and assembly operations.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers.
• Support design for manufacturability activities.
• Support design for assembly activities.
• Partner with sales teams to develop labor and material cost estimates.
• Support complex electromechanical RFQs.
• Lead root cause analysis for technical production issues.
• Lead corrective and preventive action efforts.
• Manage New Product Introduction processes.
• Support transitions from customer RFQs to full-scale production.
• Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Participate in cross-functional growth initiatives.
• Participate in technology roadmap planning.
• Participate in long-term capital investment planning.
