Job summary

TASE Global (Trusted Aerospace and Engineering) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Product Engineering, translating program requirements into executable plans and driving new product development and continuous improvement. You will ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance while guiding cross-functional teams across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in an industrial or aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with structural aluminum design.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and controlled design environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate engineering resources to meet cost, schedule, and production requirements.
• Direct product design, development, and engineering change control activities.
• Ensure designs comply with AS9100, quality system requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
• Coordinate engineers, drafters, and application engineers across assigned programs.
• Partner with Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing.
• Support vendor qualification and technical issue resolution.
• Oversee project schedules and risk mitigation efforts.
• Perform or direct engineering calculations and technical analysis.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support product liability defense activities as required.
