Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Experience with structural aluminum design.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and design controls.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate resources to meet cost, schedule and production needs.
• Direct product design, development and ECN activities.
• Ensure designs comply with AS9100 and quality systems.
• Coordinate engineers, drafters and application engineers.
• Partner with Product Mgmt, Manufacturing Eng., Quality and Purchasing.
• Support vendor qualification and issue resolution.
• Oversee project schedules and risk mitigation.
• Perform or direct engineering calculations and analyses.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support product liability defense activities as required.
