Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong experience with structural aluminum design.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and controlled design environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate engineering resources to meet cost, schedule, and production requirements.
• Direct product design, development, and engineering change control activities.
• Ensure designs comply with AS9100 and quality system requirements.
• Coordinate engineers, drafters, and application engineers across programs.
• Support vendor qualification and technical issue resolution.
• Oversee project schedules and risk mitigation efforts.
• Perform or direct engineering calculations and technical analysis.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
