Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. seeks a lead technical representative to ensure safety and regulatory compliance at the Alpha plant.

You will guide project teams, develop plans for new systems and efficiency improvements, and work with process engineers on purification designs for ultra-high-purity gases. The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and adherence to NFPA and CGA guidelines, with responsibilities spanning planning, design, and field safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Minimum five years in high purity gas manufacture and processing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and CGA guidelines.
• Promotes a culture of safety and health.
• Demonstrates operational discipline and standard work.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and AutoCAD for documentation and design tasks.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical rep to Alpha plant ensuring safety and compliance.
• Participate on project/technical teams providing guidance to plant operations, project teams, and process engineers.
• Design and develop project plans for new systems, upgrades, efficiency improvements, and maintenance projects with timeline and cost controls.
• Develop designs for ultra-high purity gas purification, handling, and disposal as a team.
• Establish system requirements by reviewing product requirements, customer specs, and performance standards.
• Maintain plant document control standards to ensure proper change/revision control.
• Develop controls narratives and collaborate with system integrators during software development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations, including final field safety inspections.

• Working knowledge and experience with applicable National Fire Protection Association codes and Compressed Gas Association guidelines

Pay Range: $90,000 - $132,000
