Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager for medical devices in Charlotte, NC. Lead a capable engineering team and own manufacturing processes, product transfer, and design transfer to support device launches.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Product Development, Quality, Operations, and customers, with Lean/Six Sigma and automation initiatives to improve cost, quality, and production performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing, product/process transfer, and design transfer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and process development.
• Experience with process validation, process capability, GR&R, and statistical analysis.
• FDA-regulated and/or ISO 13485 experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and mentoring engineers.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred. Experience with automation, ERP systems, and SolidWorks preferred.

Job Details
