Job summary

An Auburn, Indiana area manufacturing company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians in process design and manufacturing engineering at the site.

The role requires directing projects, developing policies and procedures, and driving continuous improvement to meet financial and operating goals. Strong collaboration with site leadership and hands-on engineering oversight are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably.
• 2+ years of management experience in a plant manufacturing environment.
• ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and IATF 16949 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of Engineers and Engineering Technicians who are responsible for the correct, efficient, and cost-effective completion of all components of Process Design & Manufacturing Engineering for the site.
• Provide timely updates of site program progress to the site leadership team and are a key contributor to lean and continuous improvement projects at the site
• Lead Process Design and Manufacturing Engineering - Direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities
• Must develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the organization
• Lead engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical support and information.
• Achieve Improvement Goals and Supports Financial and Operating Plan Goals
• Develop and Maintain a Program Management Process
