Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Morganfield, KY is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead proactive maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee CAPEX budgets, manage a team of technicians and engineers, and ensure safety and compliance across plant operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic systems, CMMS proficiency, and a track record of reducing downtime through root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• BS in maintenance, electrical engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5–10 years of related maintenance experience; 2–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies including predictive and preventive programs.
• Oversee CAPEX budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Lead maintenance team; recruit, train, and manage technicians and engineers.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across plant operations.
• Negotiate contracts with external service providers and manage spare parts inventory.
• Lead root-cause analysis to minimize downtime and boost productivity.
