Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (f/m/d) to develop and perform planned maintenance on equipment, train staff, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

The role covers electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems. You will conduct root-cause analysis, maintain precise maintenance records, and contribute to HSE initiatives and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven 5+ years in maintenance or technical role.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TPM.
  • Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems.
  • Proficient in basic math and logical thinking.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time; flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and achieve planned maintenance on equipment. Ensure maintenance records are accurate and up to date.
  • Train maintenance staff to achieve cross functional expertise in machines, auxiliary equipment and automation.
  • Develop Standard work, help maintenance manager in continuous improvement of efficiency of the department.
  • Perform root cause analysis for unplanned downtime and institute resolutions to mitigate recurrence.
  • Create, develop and update technical specifications for the equipment together with engineering team.
  • Provide detailed technical reports about equipment status.
  • Actively participate in HSE initiatives and promote electrical and mechanical safety.
  • Ensure tools, parts and work instructions are available for predicted and preventive repairs.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Lean standards.
