Job summary

Hexion Inc. Morganton seeks a hands‑on maintenance and process/production engineering leader responsible for building a disciplined maintenance and reliability program while serving as the site’s primary engineering resource.

You will lead a small maintenance team (3 technicians), drive safety, improve equipment uptime, manage SAP/CMMS data quality, and guide small capital projects to optimize process performance and yield.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance, reliability, or engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance activities or small teams.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP) and regulatory safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant operations across maintenance and engineering.
• Own and improve the site’s maintenance and reliability program.
• Supervise a maintenance team of 3 technicians and mentor them.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements to uptime and yield.
• Manage small capital projects from scope to execution and track KPIs.
