Skytop Lodge seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead the engineering team, ensure safe operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life-safety systems, and coordinate preventive maintenance across the property.

You will train staff, assist with capital budgeting, monitor expenses, and uphold guest comfort and safety. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities engineering.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Combination of education and experience to meet minimum qualifications for the role.

Responsabilités

• Manage the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems and related equipment.
• Provide and ensure training to engineers and staff on operational tasks.
• Assist with capital projects research, planning, and budgeting processes.
• Support monthly/annual expenses review and variance control.
• Oversee safety programs and maintain guest comfort and service standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance program across the property and monitor adherence.
