Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, owned by Evans Hotels LLC, seeks a Director of Engineering to lead all engineering operations, safety programs, and sustainability initiatives for its Five Diamond resort. You will oversee HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, guest rooms, and public spaces while guiding capital projects and preventative maintenance.

You will manage a skilled engineering team, collaborate with hotel leadership, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive engineering or facilities leadership in luxury environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience including diagnostics and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering operations across the property and oversee safety and sustainability.
• Direct preventative maintenance and repair programs for building systems and guest facilities.
• Manage capital projects, budgeting, and lifecycle planning for equipment and infrastructure.
• Mentor and lead the Engineering team to ensure top-tier guest experiences.
