Job summary

Junior is building the AI operating system for investment research in New York. We are seeking a deeply technical, highly capable leader to build the engineering organization for the next chapter and work closely with Product and customers to ship high-impact, reliable software.

You’ll report to the CTO, own engineering operations, and have authority to shape scope and recruiting. You’ll stay hands-on with code and architecture while guiding teams toward rapid, measurable progress.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading growing engineering teams.
• Experience shipping production code and managing delivery.
• Ability to recruit and develop senior ICs and leaders.
• Deep technical background with hands-on coding and architecture.
• Strong focus on reliability, security and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day engineering operations: people, planning, delivery, reliability and recruiting.
• Turn CTO direction into measurable results and credible commitments.
• Build a lean organization scalable to 40–60 engineers.
• Drive AI-native development and integration with product.
• Collaborate with Product and customers to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Lead architecture and debugging discussions and ship production code.
