Job summary

Ripple, based in Chicago, IL, seeks an innovative Engineering Manager to lead a world-class platform through a strong, high-performing team. Drive technical direction, engineering excellence, and the evolution of the team while shaping the platform that powers the Internet of Value.

You will guide architects and engineers in building cloud-native solutions, mentor team members, and collaborate with product managers to deliver robust systems.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience with complex distributed systems.
• Proficient in software development lifecycle and Agile processes.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in event driven cloud native services and full stack systems.
• Mentor team members and evaluate technical design and code.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
• Decide on design, architecture, and delivery of systems.
• Build and develop the engineering team and foster career growth.
• Drive Agile development and analytics within the team.
• Improve operations, processes, and technology choices.
• Engage with team, customers, and peers to improve cross-department processes.
• Ensure quality, operations, and architectural standards are met.
• Participate in on-call pager rotation.
