Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to build and lead a growing software organization. The role starts with two engineers and aims to scale to ten, owning hiring, standards, SDLC, and AI-assisted development practices while ensuring delivery quality and regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with the data architect and technology leadership to drive major architectural decisions and deliver high-quality software across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Management experience is required; ownership of an engineering function preferred.
• Agentic coding expertise is non-negotiable.
• Regulated-industry experience is required; financial services strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a software organization starting with two engineers and growing toward ten.
• Own software engineering hiring, talent development, standards, SDLC, AI-assisted development practices, delivery quality, and resource allocation.
• Share major architecture decisions with the data architect and broader Technology leadership.
