Job summary

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, seeks an engineering leader to steer the Ontology platform and Knowledge Graph initiatives. You will shape strategy, mentor senior engineers, and drive scalable, secure data pipelines across security domains.

You will partner with product, data, and AI teams to deliver an API-first knowledge base, robust entity resolution, and high‑impact retrieval capabilities at scale in a modern cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering with leadership
• Experience building data-intensive platforms
• Strong knowledge of ontology and graph data modeling
• Proven track record delivering across multi-team programs

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ontology platform roadmap and delivery
• Define canonical entities, relationships, and semantic contracts across security domains
• Architect scalable Knowledge Graph services and Ontology API
• Mentor engineers and build a high-performing security data platform
• Collaborate with Product/Data/AI teams to ensure governance, reliability, and cost efficiency
