Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team delivering high-quality web and API-based fraud prevention products, blending hands-on coding with people leadership.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business challenges, while operating in Agile and CI/CD environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering lead experience.
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DORA methodologies.
• Strong experience with Managed Services or Staff Augmentation.
• Proficiency in development languages including C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within a specific area of responsibility.
• Interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements.
• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Complete complex bug fixes.
• Mentor and/or train entry-level software engineers as directed by management.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operate in Agile, Waterfall, CI/CD environments while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Design and work with complex data models.
• Manage and encourage new ideas to foster improvements through innovations.
• Empower staff to be accountable for their actions.
