Job summary

Helion is seeking an experienced project engineer/project manager to lead capital-improvement projects within a food-manufacturing facility. This role coordinates engineering, vendors, contractors, installation, commissioning, and project closeout while maintaining production, food-safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience managing manufacturing capital projects.
• Experience delivering equipment installation, facility modification, or process-improvement projects in an operating plant.
• Strong contractor, vendor, budget, and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Expand production system from three to nine fillers.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, site prep, installation, startup, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and action items.
• Facilitate project meetings and report progress to plant and corporate stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, correct, and on-schedule completion of contractor work.
